President Joe Biden’s chief of staff Ron Klain criticized the Trump administration’s vaccination campaign as "chaotic," adding Biden will work more closely with states to get vaccines into arms.
On Meet the Press, Chuck Todd asked Klain about conflicting comments by Biden officials about whether the new administration had to create a vaccination distribution plan from scratch.
Klain said Biden was building on progress from the initial wave of vaccinations, "no question about it."
"But the process to distribute the vaccine, particularly outside of nursing homes and hospitals out into the community as a whole did not really exist when we came into the White House," Klain said.

"The Trump administration planned to get the vaccines developed and then send them to locations chosen by states. States wrote their own plans, and they were responsible for setting up places to get vaccines into Americans’ arms.
The Trump administration’s approach was flawed, experts said because it failed to adequately communicate about the anticipated number of doses and the rollout.
The Biden administration plans more federal involvement in getting vaccines into arms, including setting up 100 FEMA sites nationwide."

On Friday February 19, Emmanuel Macron proposed to the West to deliver as soon as possible 13 million doses of vaccines to the African continent in order to immunise its 6.5 million caregivers. The African Black Defence League (LDNA) reacted immediately by opposing the project: “Take care of France, the African continent is doing very well, your vaccine is only intended to sterilise Africans”.
The LDNA, visibly hostile to vaccines currently approved in France, indicated that the French were only subject to phase III trials, referring to a publication by Aimsib (International Association for a independent and benevolent scientific medicine). --EU Disinfo

Spike protein antibodies are made in response to both natural infections and vaccines. So women who have been infected naturally with SARS-CoV-2 during pregnancy also have antibodies to the spike protein. Therefore, studies of the natural immune response of pregnant women to SARS-CoV-2 – and the effects of infection on pregnancy outcomes – can provide insight into the risk of spike protein antibodies to pregnancy.
Evidence shows that the risk of miscarriage is not increased in women who have had a SARS-CoV-2 infection in early pregnancy. This indicates that even if spike protein antibodies are present within the uterus, they don’t have a negative effect on implantation or early development of the placenta.

Disinformation message about the vaccination campaign and the relations between Europe and Africa.
The fact that phase III tests of already approved vaccines are not over yet doesn't prove that people who are vaccinated, or more specifically, African medical personnel, will become sterile after vaccination.
The courts have condemned LDNA's founders for intimidation against an elected mayor. They are known to French judicial authorities. Their actions and declarations are highly controversial, and the organization's dissolution is publicly requested by the International League Against Racism and Anti-Semitism (LICRA). If the Sputnik article about this tweet had a large echo, in general, the French press hasn't mentioned this statement.
It should also be reminded that if vaccines against Covid-19 currently approved in France did not finish Phase III testing, it doesn't mean they would be harmful or that other vaccines not approved would have completed phase III testing.
The European Medicine Agency has an expedited evaluation procedure for COVID-19 vaccines because of the sanitary situation's urgency. Waiting until the end of Phase III testing is excluded (for more information, COVID-19 vaccines: Scientific evaluation and approval: Accelerated evaluation). No vaccine has completed Phase III testing so far. The COVID-NMA initiative provides a living worldwide mapping and living systematic review of Covid-19 trials.

A post on Facebook has claimed that the Covid-19 vaccine “doesn't stop you getting [Covid-19] or spreading it”
Assessment/Notes
The Pfizer/BioNTech and Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccines, which have been approved for use in the UK, have both been shown in multiple rounds of studies to reduce your chances of getting severely ill with Covid-19.
The Facebook post is accompanied by a screenshot from the government website which says: “We do not yet know whether [getting vaccinated] will stop you from catching and passing on the virus.”
This is referring to the fact that it is not yet clear whether being vaccinated can stop you getting infected with the Covid-19 virus, and then passing it on.
The varying “effectiveness” rates miss the most important point: The vaccines were all 100% effective in the vaccine trials in stopping hospitalizations and death.Waiting for a more effective vaccine is actually the worst thing you can do to lower your risk of getting severely ill and dying of COVID-19.

"President Joe Biden said the Trump administration didn’t contract for enough vaccines to cover all U.S. adults — an estimated 255 million. Under Trump administration contracts, the U.S. had agreed to buy at least 1 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccine, enough to vaccinate 550 million people.
Those agreements, though, included vaccine candidates still in development. By the time Trump left office, his administration had contracted for enough of the authorized vaccines to inoculate 200 million people. Here’s what the Trump administration’s initial contracts called for drugmakers to supply to the U.S. government:
Pfizer-BioNTech: 100 million doses (2 dose regimen)
Moderna: 100 million doses (2 dose regimen)
Johnson & Johnson: 100 million doses (1 dose regimen)
AstraZeneca: 300 million doses (2 dose regimen)

As of February 22, 2021, the US national public health institute said the reported deaths had “no link with vaccination”. The CDC considers both Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines “safe and effective”
The post misrepresents the CDC data. It also incorrectly reports the current tally for adverse reactions among people who have received the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Since the United States began its Covid-19 vaccination campaign on December 14, 2020, VAERS has registered the deaths of 934 people (0.0018%) who have gotten a shot. In its latest update, the CDC said no link had been established between the reported deaths and the vaccine.
“A review of available clinical information including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records findings revealed no link with vaccination,” the institution wrote in a statement on its website on February 16, 2021.
A search on VAERS on February 22, 2021, found that 429 people who received a Pfizer-BioNTech shot have died and 1,061 hospitalised. For the Moderna vaccine, the tally stands at 382 deaths and 821 hospitalisations. These numbers are updated every Friday. However, experts emphasise that these deaths are not directly linked to the vaccines for Covid-19.
